Another prime mid-1960s session from the unruffled master of Cool Jazz. Desmond, Jim Hall, Connie Kay and Gene Cherico lay out on a mix of medium swingers, ballads and Bossa Novas. Eugene Wright joins his old Brubeck Quartet cohort on the title track, which puts a sneaky Eastern spin on Desmond's famous "Take Five." "Alone Together" is the highlight of a great set.
