The Berlin duo Ame scored a genuine classic with their 2005 tune "Rej," but instead of riding the accolades to superstar status, they've concentrated on house music's deeper, more esoteric side. Here, they stitch together highlights from their ever-evolving live sets, re-editing them into something that sounds as seamless as a studio LP. Along with their own tracks, including a heavily reworked "Rej," they remix artists like Roy Ayers, Osunlade, UNKLE, even Underworld, but the sound throughout -- heavy, fluid, marked by sleek beats and lush synths -- is all Ame.
