The Glee formula -- dramatic plots about rites of passage and over-the-top emotions about stuff we all ultimately forget about set to angsty pop -- was made for a graduation special. So here we have a collection of Meaningful songs about youth and growing up that both relive the show's glory days (classic rock anthems? Check) and demonstrate why it's time to move on (too much oversung Rachel and Finn drama). If at times the show has taken "stay sweet, never change" too seriously (fun., which should be in their wheelhouse, feels not so), there's still plenty here to bring a tear to your eye.
