Biography

It seems like everything Hope Sandoval touches can turn to aural gold. Her project the Warm Inventions involves Colm O'Ciosoig from My Bloody Valentine as well as Bert Jansch from Pentangle. With The Warm Inventions, Sandoval sounds less influenced by Acoustic Blues artists like Memphis Minnie and Honky-Tonk crooners like the late Tammy Wynette. Her murmuring musings dip more into British Folk inspired backdrops and wistful moments that recall flashes of Claudine Longet (without a trace of the tired Parisian camp).
