Natalia Jimenez

The former lead singer of Grammy-winning Spanish rock band La 5a Estacion, Jimenez began striking out on her own in 2010. She duetted with Marc Anthony and Ricky Martin, then headed into the studio with Emilio Estefan (and, occasionally, his wife Gloria) to record her self-titled solo debut. Jimenez was born in Madrid, where she hooked up with the other members of La 5a Estacion. The band relocated in Mexico, where they had a strong following, and began establishing themselves as a serious presence in the Latin Pop world. Jimenez began calling a third city home when she moved to Miami to record her solo effort. The distinctive musical scenes of all three cities influenced her wide-ranging album.
