Biography
The Oyster Band, like the Pogues, brought an unruly rock beat to folk while managing to keep the feel of their music traditional. This British band had a knack for picking pop material and transforming it to their own style. Billy Bragg and New Order tunes got them on the airwaves, but their classic material has the same good-time vibe.
