Biography

Tony Williamson is a mandolin player who picks at lightning speed. White lightning speed, that is. His New Traditional bluegrass is composed of a rich backline that includes 1997 Grammy winner Craig Smith and Dobro sliding virtuoso Jerry Douglas. The songs here are wonderful old timey approximations with fresh production that avoids being too slick.
