3. What is Napster Light?
Napster Light is a 79p music store with no monthly membership fee. Search and browse 30-second music clips and
buy your favourite music to burn to CD or transfer to a compatible MP3 player.
4. Why is a Napster Membership better than only buying music by the song or album from a 79p music store?
A Napster Membership for £9.95 per month gives you unlimited
access to 5,000,000+ songs on your PC. For only £5 more
a month or a total of £14.95, a Napster To Go Membership
allows you to transfer an unlimited amount of music to your
PC and compatible MP3 player.
Think of it like a going to an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant. You can try everything you want, whenever you want. One day you can take every album by Stevie Wonder, Miles Davis, Destiny's Child or Eminem. The next day you can download a whole radio station or every Reggae album you want. Your music doesn't have to be limited by your budget anymore. With Napster, the whole world of music opens up to you for just the price of a CD a month.

6. What happens to the music I downloaded to my PC if I cancel my Membership?
If you cancel your Membership, the music you downloaded from Napster will no longer be playable at the end of your current billing period. You can still use Napster Light to play and organise all of the music you own without a membership fee. Access Napster Light with the same user name and password. With Napster Light, you can also sample 30-second clips and buy tracks for 79p and albums from £7.95. If you decide to resume your Napster Membership, your Napster music library will be restored and your downloaded music will be playable again.
7. Which MP3 players are compatible with Napster, Napster To Go and Napster Light?

8. What if I just want to buy songs or albums to burn to CD or transfer to a compatible MP3 player?
You can always use Napster Light, Napster's 79p music store, to purchase tracks for 79p and albums from £7.95. Once purchased, you can keep this music on your PC forever, burn it to CD or transfer to a compatible MP3 player. You can get Napster Light when you download and register for Napster. 9. What can I do with music I buy on Napster?
The songs and albums you buy are yours to keep forever. You can burn an individual song as
many times as you like and the same songlist up to 7 times. You can copy your music to 3
computers, and transfer it to a compatible MP3 player an unlimited number of times.
10. How can I use Napster on multiple PCs?
You can access your Napster Membership on up to 3 PCs. Just go to Napster.com and click on
"Members: Download Again" to install the Napster software on a new PC. You can also put your
same Napster Library on all 3 PCs using Napster's Copy Library function.
11. Do I need a credit card to use Napster?
Billing information from your credit card or PayPal account is required to take a free trial of Napster or Napster To Go. Napster Light does not require a credit card or Paypal account to register.
12. Can I listen to Napster through my home stereo or in my car?
With Napster, you can give your living room the power of over
5,000,000 songs. Connect Napster to your home stereo directly

13. What type of music files and digital rights management software does Napster use?
The Napster music that is downloaded to your computer is in Window Media Audio (WMA) format
at 128 Kbps stereo. We use Microsoft Windows Media Digital Rights Management software to
make sure all the music you have is fast, safe and protected. For more information about

14. Does Napster work with iPod?
Napster would like to work with your iPod, but Apple has chosen to keep both the iPod and iTunes closed off from Napster and every other digital music service. Napster's philosophy is different. 15. How do I cancel my Napster membership or the free trial period I am currently in?
Napster Light Members
• There's No Need to Cancel
As a Napster Light member, you will never be charged unless you choose to purchase tracks or albums. You can use Napster Light to search for and listen to 30-second samples of all the songs in the Napster catalogue for FREE. Napster Subscription and Trial Period Members
If there is something we can help you with that has prevented you from enjoying your Napster experience, we encourage you to first contact Napster Customer Support by clicking the Help Request button above and selecting an appropriate help category from the drop down menu.
If you are in a Free Trial period - If you would still like to cancel, you can do so now by logging into your account, clicking on "My Account" in the top-left corner, and selecting "Account Status". Simply click on the "Cancel Free Trial" link at the bottom of the pop-up and follow the prompts to cancel your trial subscription. Once you cancel your Free Trial you will be downgraded to Napster Light. Napster Light is a free music store and there are no subscription fees. You can use Napster Light moving forward to purchase tracks and albums, burn, and transfer tracks.
If you would like our Customer Support department to process your cancellation request, please use the Help Request form above and select "Cancellation Request" as the Type Of Help. Please be aware that it may take up to 48 hours to process your request.
If you are a Paid Subscriber - To cancel your Napster subscription, please contact us by phone at 020 7365 1079, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (GMT). Once you cancel your subscription you will be downgraded to Napster Light. Napster Light is a free music store and there are no subscription fees. You can use Napster Light moving forward to purchase tracks and albums, burn, and transfer tracks
16. Can I burn unlimited CDs for the price of my Napster or Napster To Go subscription?
Once you purchase a track or album you can burn it to CD, but CD burning is not included in the price of a Napster or Napster To Go subscription.
