Rapcore bands usually use a standard rock band lineup with a drum kit and emphasize the low-end with funk basslines. As with rap, the lyrical content is polarized between the highly politicized (Rage Against the Machine, Body Count) and party music antics (Insane Clown Posse, Red Hot Chili Peppers).
