NAPSTER APPOINTS TABITHA COUPE AS ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
New position created to manage Napster’s growing number of marketing partners
including Dixons Group, TM Retail, and the Post Office
LONDON - (December 2, 2004) - Napster UK, Ltd. a subsidiary of Roxio, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROXI),
has appointed Tabitha Coupe as account director, with immediate effect. Coupe will manage all of
Napster’s partner relationships including those with high street chains Dixons Group, the Post
Office and TM Retail, where her duties will include day-to-day liaison, project management, and
developing and implementing joint marketing promotions. Based at the company’s UK headquarters in
London’s Mortimer Street, Coupe reports directly to Napster vice-president and UK general manager
Leanne Sharman.
Tabitha Coupe joins Napster from marketing agency the Intercepta Group where she was the O2 account
director and was responsible for managing an account team overseeing promotional marketing campaigns,
trade incentive programmes, and project management. Before that, at advertising agency VCCP, she was
the account director for Samsung Mobile UK and ING. Previously, she worked on several award-winning
campaigns for Coca-Cola at marketing agency Mosaic.
"Tabitha is a first class account director and her proven skills in below-the-line marketing, project
management, in-store POS, retail incentive plans, and on-the-ground marketing initiatives will prove
invaluable in maximising our partner relationships," said Leanne Sharman. "Her experience in brand
guardianship for clients such as Coke will be used to help maintain Napster’s own strong brand values,
and the fact that her first job was at PolyGram underlines her most important asset - being a music fan."
