NAPSTER WINS BEST DIGITAL MUSIC SERVICE AT MUSIC WEEK AWARDS
Napster UK last night became the inaugural winner of the Best Digital Music
Service award at the Music Week Awards 2005. In the ceremony at the Grosvenor

manager Leanne Sharman collected the award in front of over 1,500 people,
beating off competition from AOL Music, 3 Mobile, Vital PIAS, Karmadownload.com,
and Urban Digital Vending.
The Music Week Awards is the UK record industry’s annual trade event held to
recognise outstanding performances in the sector over the past 12 months.
The news of Napster’s award came as the company increased its fourth-quarter

million. Napster shares rose 47 cents to $7.27 on Nasdaq.
